WHAT IS MBI?
It is an interviewing methodology designed for identifying High
Performers. It can be used for hiring any position, it requires no
additional interviewing time and it’s easy to learn. MBI is taught in
more than 10 countries and in multiple languages.
WHY IS IT DIFFERENT?
Traditional interviewing does a reasonable job of assessing the
candidate’s skills, but is not effective at predicting future job
performance. MBI evolves beyond traditional behavior-based interviewing
to allow the interviewer to more accurately assess the components that
are inherent in ALL High Performers.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Most interviewers will judge a candidate based on their assessment of
the candidate’s skill alone. MBI takes into consideration 2 additional
elements that all High Performers share. It more effectively assesses
motivation.
HOW CAN YOU LEARN MBI?
The most convenient and cost effective way to learn MBI is through the
interactive web course. Instructor-led courses, conducted by certified
trainers, are also available. Participants learn how to effectively
gather and assess all 3 components of the High Performer. The web
course includes 2 virtual practice interviews. A Certificate of
Completion is awarded upon the successful completion of the course.
**Purchasing the Motivation-Based Interviewing e-book is a
great way to complement your education. It will help you gain a better

INTERVIEWER &
HIRING FACTS:
* 80% of all interviewers have had
NO formal training.
* Typical interviewer training
doesn’t teach how to identify High Performers.
* Applicants are often better
educated on how to get a job than the interviewers are on how to hire
effectively.
*
The most common mistake
interviewers make: Deciding to hire based upon a candidate’s skill
level alone.
*
Since most companies do not
track “quality” of hire, interviewer effectiveness is unknown.
*
What interviewers miss,
managers and trainers often can’t fix.
*
MBI is a more effective way to
make great hiring decisions.
